Poppy Playtime - Chapter 3 is a premium adventure experience from Mob Entertainment, serving as the highly-anticipated sequel to the Poppy Playtime series. Entitled Deep Sleep, this installment combines its signature blend of survival-horror and puzzle-solving as you continue from where the last game ended. Finding a decrepit orphanage under the toy factory, you continue on and try to avoid the new horrors that lurk within.
Aside from a great pick up on the storyline, Poppy Playtime - Chapter 3 also comes with a lot of new content, from monsters to your GrabPack. Complete the trilogy with Poppy Playtime and Poppy Playtime - Chapter 2.
A larger, harder, scarier playtime
The first compelling reason to play Poppy Playtime - Chapter 3 is how it directly continues the previous one. At the end of the previous game, the player takes the train going deeper into the Playtime Co. Factory before losing consciousness due to the train crash. The third entry starts with you waking up and CatNap — the new antagonist — throwing you down the tunnel and landing in a trash compactor.
From there, your nightmarish journey begins. What steps up the ante is that the new installment features a better variety of jumpscares and chases aside from the usual animatronic monsters chasing you. It also features scary symbols, sudden screams, and echoes. As mentioned, there is a lot of new content. Aside from the new and larger location, your GrabPack now comes with new upgrades and there’s a new main monster after you.
Intended as a sequel, newcomers are better off playing the game from the very start. Jumping straight into this game would leave you missing out on the story, references, and easter eggs. Other than that, the prequels serve as a good way to get into the type of horror and puzzles that it offers. The game doesn’t take the time to reintroduce the basics of the series..

You will unravel the dark secrets behind the Gas Production Zone and the enigmatic Red Smoke throughout the gameplay. Moreover, the storyline delves into the twisted history of Playcare as it reveals disturbing audio recordings and the sinister truth behind the creation of Playtime Co. You will face mind-bending challenges, encountering monstrous figures like Kissy Missy, a twisted version of Huggy Wuggy, and even Poppy herself.
As the plot unfolds, Poppy reveals the horrific events of "The Hour of Joy" by displaying CCTV footage depicting the merciless slaughter of your coworkers by the toys under The Prototype's orders. The revelation prompts a truce between you and Poppy, driven by a shared desire to end the Prototype's reign of terror. The chapter concludes on a suspenseful note as Kissy Missy faces an ominous threat, leaving players eagerly anticipating the continuation of the chilling narrative.

However, newcomers will miss a lot without the first two games. Other than that, this is definitely a must-try.
